This week-end it's the St Patrick's Festival in Dublin !

So just a thread for all the Irish people and the others who want to share these festivities with us !

I hung out with some friends. I drank, Im a bit hungover, and slightly wanted to puke. And i have to go to work ahaha

 

But I had a good time with some friends and stuff.

 

Rule number 1. do not drink the night before you have to work in the morning.lol

I guess the closest the dutch has got to St. Paddy's day is Liberation Day

St. Patrick's Day is celebrated in alot of places outside of Ireland too....basically an excuse for people to get piss loaded.

In honor of the Irish culture and st. patty's day the local classic rock radio station has been playing literally every single u2 song in abc order. Sound's like some people on this forum's dream

Hahaha! Our rock station's doing something like that too. THey play a U2 song every hour, and if you can identify it you get points to buy stuff in the station's rewards store. It's a no-brainer for me,lol.

 

My band's playing from noon to midnight tomorrow at our local Irish pub, so I can't really get piss loaded until midnight...but I'm going to make up for lost time!!:laugh3::laugh3:

I don't listen to the radio, so no idea if there is any form of a U2 promotion going on.

 

But I would love to hear every single U2 song in order on teh radio :D

Some guy who runs a pub somewhere banned Danny Boy on St. Patrick's Day or something like that. lol.

 

Tomorrow, if we wear green in algebra class, we don't have to do homework. Yay.

These days its very comercial and with a high number of Irish bars in Barcelona it makes me sick, that they just see this as a good day for business.

BTW, don't you know that St. Patrick's day was canceled this year due to the early Easter?
