Got an email from someone who alerted me to the fact that Coldplay.com "expires" in April and thinks it might have something to do with a cache switch from the old to the new website. He was using firefox, right click on the browser and choose page info.

I don't use firefox so I don't know what it means (maybe someone else does?). I'm assuming I have that particular time because I'm in the UK. Is it different for you guys around the world?

Anyway here's a screenshot of it happening. Maybe we might be waiting until next month after all

[Thanks Patrick in Canada]

Good find!

I just checked the page info and it said the same thing, except at 4:44:50 PM EST.

I haven't the slightest clue what that might mean, but apparently it expires for me (on the easy coast of the US) at 4:50:09 on April 9

I havn't got a clue what it means. Are there any professional web designers here?

If I were to go on a hunch though, I would say that's round about the time when the new site will go live.

Well someone had to say it eventually...

It says April 4 at 3:04:21pm for me

("Nan mais quelle nouille je vous jure !")

what happened at 28 november 2008, if you what happened then you'll probably know what will happen in april

But using the same page info thing, under the media tab it says :Saturday, April 26, 2008 1:28:54 AM

That's just the expiration of the cache...

Nothing special is going to happen guys.

will they have a system failure if they don't push the buttons :o

Lol, no.

But the page will take slightly longer to load than usual.

BTW, I found the most compelling Lost theory the other day, here's the link.
