Agreed, the Pens finally decided to play. I'm just glad we can count on that home ice winning streak. Its keeping us alive it seems :nice:

Theres not to many british NHL fans in this thread is there !!!! I'll be one anyway ..... we get all the stanley cup final games on terrestrial tele at 1am (so have to set the video) Been a huge hockey fan for 5 years now. I support my local club the mighty MK Lightning and love watching the NHL stuff when i can

 

Definately the best two clubs of the post season made it to the final and am hoping the series goes to 7 now ..... huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge game tonight for that to happen and the Pens really need it or its gonna be over in 5 i think.

If you look back youll see Ive always supported the Wings. Ive been a Wings fan for years and I am PSYCHED about this! Theyre actually gonna do it!!!

Lidstrom and Ozzy definitely deserve credit. But player of the game Saturday was Zetterberg for sure. He is simply amazing at both ends of the ice.

Well its more understandable that you are cheering for the Pens too since Sidney is from Cole Harbour.

 

I was thinking the other day, "will I ever like Sidney Crosby?"

And also why I don't like him, and here is what I came up with.

 

Although he is from Nova Scotia, he ended up being drafted by Rimouski Oceanic in the Quebec league. That year, or the next year the Oceanic swept the Mooseheads in the league final, and for a long time there was sort of this rivalry between Rimouski and Halifax.

WOW what a game - my recording only went as far as 2ndOT so missed the final goal .... seen it since on youtube tho! This kinda game is why i love hockey. I just wish more people watched it over here

my wings win it! woot! i'm not a huge hockey fan but this playoffs has motivated me to get back into it. hockeyshould be the real winter sport in the us/canada. not basketball
