May 11, 200818 yr switzerland is an expensive country for anything, also they have higher salaries. Cheers Chuck ! Switzerland's an expensive country where stupid French celebrities go hide 'cause taxes are much lower :dozey: yeah euros suck.. see the dollar price now ! Grab a Heine! :P I'll have a Leinenkugels! I wonder why the show are so expensive in Switzerland??. I do to and I lived there most of my life. Yes, Swiss people might earn a bit more than most other people BUT living costs are ridiculously high too. A lot of people seem to think everyone's well off. People asked me all the time why I left the place. Taxes are high as well but really rich people don't have to pay as much as elsewhere. As taxes aren't the same in every town in country, it does make a difference when someone rich moves there. Especially if you live in a small village of course. So places often try to make it attractive for celebrities to move there.

May 12, 200818 yr Swiss Cheese! Switzerland is touted as being this paradise place, where everyone's well off, well fed, and happy.. But thanks for telling me this Sally! - I had often wondered if it were true; as one might expect, there are some serious disparities between reality and what we see on TV. So, are you suggesting that you're not wealthy?? Comeon now - I know you Brit's got the sterling tucked away somewhere!!;):P Taxes are high here too - but then, the Swiss have great services for all the taxes, Y/N? All we get are bloated defense budgets, pork, and a dribble for essential services here in the US. The Swiss are not into invading other nations, so where's the money going for all the high taxes there? But still, great chocolate, trains that run on time, fine watches, and all that nice cheese!! Sounds like paradise to me:). Chavi, don't the celebs go to the French Riviera? Monaco? I are confuzzed. I suppose, anything that's a bargain, close by, and ritzy enough.. Do the celebs spend time milking the swiss cows as well??:laugh3: (for some reason, a ditzy blond names Paris Hilton comes to mind..) & Bart's liquor rack must be extensive! (That, or he owns a distillery??;))
May 12, 200818 yr Author spain 4, portugal 3 lol sounded like if it were a match :P No I was on my way to work, however for everyone that knows me they will make fun out of me when they see me... I will be just lauged at.. I can only laugh with them

May 12, 200818 yr Author We got a goal that is not a point. Our fans threw the their chairs on the pitch and a player got sent off. We could have been beaten 99-0 today and it would have made no difference. If the fans would have behaved themselves and the player had not got sent off. We would be playing in Europe next season, and better players would have came to the club. The Coach was going to be sacked however up until yesterday he was doing a good job, and over 18 000 fans signed a pettion to keep him to stay. Plus 3000 of the fans turned up to protest yesterday outside our staduim to keep him at the club also in a on line vote 99.97 % of people said the Chairman was crazy for wanting to get rid of him. He was very popular with the fans as he achived something over our closet rivals no coach has managed for 38 years. For most of us this was the first time in our life time. Thefore it would have been difficult for him to sack him. Now he will sack him with a 3 million pound pay off 5.5 million US Dollars.. so that is why I don´t like him anymore.. He can go...
May 12, 200818 yr But still, it's only one game, and the coach has no control over the fans, so is this a wise move, or just an expedient one?? Sounds a lot like here - you have to pay people off to satisfy their contracts, and then find someone new!! It is ridiculous, but then again, that's the nature of sports these days! But the fans were throwing chairs onto the field?? Hmm.. I've heard of cups, and sometimes someone tosses a frisbee onto a field here - chairs is very over-the-top. What were the circumstances? General frustration?? Bad call?? Well, one goal is better than none, and there's nowhere to go but up!
May 12, 200818 yr edelweiss? :P there's a gym in my area in Spain with that name lol  :laugh3:I'm trying to picture a gym with that name.. Edelweiss Brewery and Fitness Center?? What a combo - catch some suds after the work-out! I think Edelweiss was brewed down in Chicago.. Otherwise, a mountain plant found at high elevations in the Alps, as I recall.. So, what's on tap at Bea's?
May 12, 200818 yr lol the alps...funny if you could got to understand what does he says lol.. the gym is just called edelweiss... i find it a weird name for a gym, don't ask me why, but well their logo is weird too :uhoh: on tap? i've never heard that expression before :uhoh: i'm doing fine, although i fear i'm on a blocked creative mood :uhoh: i had wrote down about some poems but i can't write them at all yet :\ well. what about you chuck? ;)

General frustration?? Bad call?? Well, one goal is better than none, and there's nowhere to go but up! Its complicated the fans were upset because the coach was getting the sack. And now he will, and we will have to find a better one. I think today, he got played tatics which got his team beat by purpose as the chairman realised he had upset alot of the fans and not so many people would go to the games next season thefore he would have lost even more money. Now he will have to sack him, pay him off and still run the risk of upsetting the fans.. The trouble was the Chairman should have never said anything in the 1st place. The star players want to leave some of them are very good as they love the coach so it will be even harder for us next season. We are in a real mess. Nearly all the top people in football told the chairman said he was making a mistake. Even Noel Gallagher said he was making a mistake.
May 12, 200818 yr Rather stressfull actually, there is a lot of crap going on at work, plus we are going through Union negotiations.....
