April 23, 200818 yr ^ exactly. Number 1 singles mean nothing to me and they shouldn't to any band, really - especially Coldplay. They have so much fame that they just need concentrate on writing music that they feel like.....the rest is all horseshit. Radiohead being the main, major comparison. They do as they wish - and listeners decide. Luckily, they make great music....:) Completely agree, that's why they're not whoring it all over radio already or releasing it on CD. And as frustrating as that is for us, who want to hear it, it's understandable. They've been so over exposed in the past and now the dubious honour of 'Britain's most overplayed' has now fallen on Alex Turner they can relax a little and as you said, make the music they want to.

Blue Room maybe? and you see how much a copy of THAT goes for now! And I think the best guaranteed way to get it is to order it through NME. That's what Im about to do :)

So I'd imagine they'll release far more copies of this single than of the previous one!

I wanna see them more that 1 time but I dont know if I can see them even once. And my bro and freind want to book hoiday in September. Where The hell am I going to get that money???? I'm definatly getting Violet Hill, its the start of a new era for Coldplay. But I'd love to see them live as well, I haven't seen them before because they hardly ever come to the south west, let alone Cornwall! :cry:

I believe they gave away two cds. one I THINK was Blue Room and the other they gave away with a newspaper. I hate people who critizes Coldplay! 1) they don't even listen to it! 2) It's music that makes you feel, and is about love and death and all the ins and outs of life and what makes life great! and those people just want music about dry humping some poor girl in a club.
