NME to give away new Coldplay songs free

Featured Replies

Hmmm interesting, mabye NME are keeping it 1 per custmer.

I like your Sig. Never seen that little pic thing. Cool!!

they're probably just trying to screw you over with the postage! tight money-grabbing bastards, it doesn't cost that much to send a magazine to anywhere, especially not a fiver for postage to the UK. I'm still horrified by that!

maybe but you can change quantities...

moreover, nowhere it's precised

^haha, well it's about 11 pounds shipping to the US if you do it the fastest way, and that's $22. shipping is crazy expensive. they do screw you over massively!

but shipping within the US is usually between 7 and 15 dollars for averaged-sized things, so you guys are lucky that you only have to pay 5 pounds!

That seems like a lot for shipping within your own country!

I get annoyed when I have to pay amazon 1.24 for postage for a CD, when HMV.com will deliver it for free!

NME is available in the states in any good book store or local record shop. Pretty sure it's available at Barnes and Noble and Borders.

Crap! now i'm gonna have to find a record player!! I might have to dig up my parents old one. While I'm at it I'll play some Beatles and Clapton and Boston and Queen on it :D

It makes sense that they release it on vinyl. With that whole quote last year about the single vinyl release and listening to songs on vinyl being a)better and b)much better.

Thanks! Good to know!

well yeah, i dont own a vinyl player as well, wtf haha.

can anyone here take the songs from the vinyl and convert them to mp3s?

I love the artwork, I love the new song title "A Spell A Rebel Yell". Props to whoever's doing Coldplay's art direction this time around, it's phenomenal.

Yeah, agreed!

Very unusual title though, I'll be interested to hear what the song is about, and why they can smell a rebel yelling! :stunned:

wait, Spell not Smell. thats why i'm so confused!! :D

thats not bad going! I suppose this is the first real concrete proof we';ve had of any singles from VLV

does anyone else thing A Spell A Rebel Yell would have made an excellent album name?

possiby, but its even more of a tongue twister than viva la vida or death and all of his friends. although it'd make our lives on the forums easier, ASARY

I work at AT&t and we have a points program. You get incentives in the form of 100 points. I have enough points to where I can go on an at&t amazon.com site. it's available for pre-order on there, so I ordered it with my points! :D that's how I got Muse, the new Elbow, Talk EP, and now Viva La Vida!:D

I work at an at&t corporate store. you get them as incentives for sales.

I'm gonna have the physical album, but i won't be able to wait for it to come in the mail, so in the morning (at like midnight;)) i'm gonna download it off of iTunes. They MIGHT have a bonus track on there too!! or maybe when you pre-order it!
