I was in HMV in my local store, and I enquired about pre ordering it,

so the guy looked it up on their computer and it said

"Coldplay - Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends - 13th JUNE"

 

I know there are a million threads about this guys, but I wanted it to grab all of your attentions.

 

HMV are releasing it on the 13th! - 3 days less to wait :D

 

When I asked the guy why it was being released on a friday when ALL music is released on a monday he simply chuckled and said

 

"It's Coldplay, being up themselves and trying to be different"

But nothing is ever released on a friday.

I've gotta figure out how to get into town on a friday now!! I have the morning off on Monday's so its no problem, but friday's are a different story!

hmm. i wonder if that will continue to hold true the closer we get to the date, because it's a bit odd for it to be released on a friday, right? and it goes against what prospekt says. but YAY if that stays true!! it means faster leaks for the rest of us!!

HMV seems to be everywhere nowadays. Every other music shop has closed. Except Zavvi. But what kind of a name for a shop is Zavvi?? :laugh3:

Well I reckon the odds are it'll leak, so you'll hear it earlier anyways. Just depends on which is cheaper, and if you can wait three more days! Its not that long, given we've waited three-ish years :P

it could well happen. 'be here now' was released on a thursday i recall.......but lets hope, the play's, new album is a tad better ;)
