In all the years I've been here I haven't seen so much dumb spamming here in the lounge. Is it really necessary to have 3 or 4 spam threads? Or to be ruining classic threads like Pictures, Webcams, Etc..?

 

All I can say is that some of you newbs should just go join a forum for 4 year olds, or the Black Parade.

 

And also I would like Ian for putting the "ignore" feature in. Too bad there isn't a stupidity filter as well.

if the interesting posters left.. there will be more place for the boring threads =/

I kind of agree with you. The lounge hasn't been as fun as it once was. The coldplay section has been the heart of the forum lately.

 

BUT. It is a forum for random talk, so technically its ok.

I agree, I've retreated back to the Coldplay section recently.

And I'm scared of bumping the Pringles Thread, i case it gets spammed :dozey:

Same here. I used to live in the lounge, and I suppose if people want to make the spam threads, it's ok. I'd rather there be one not four! And as for there being more important things to think of, fair enough, but a little common courtessy and adult behaviour never hurt anyone.

 

Sure I play along with the stupid threads, but I'd be happier if there were fewer of them...WAY fewer!

I'm hitting "show all threads as read" more and more these days with threads I don't want to read due to them being blatant spam.

yup, i totally agree with you. I only came here for the lounge and the world of music but now both of them just seem so dead so i don't come and definitely not post as often as i used to!

I agree. The Lounge is boring. But not because no one posted in there but because almost everything people post = nothing.

Not only that, but when people do post interesting threads, they die after a couple of page while the spam threads go on and on...

I havent been a member that long, but this forum has always been the best one on the web to me. Maybe its not always intersting, but other forums just have people posting racist and sexist comments and telling you everything thats wrong with you. I love this forum and wouldnt change a thing.

 

BTW: I think everything will be more interesting after the album is released. Its been 3 years since X&Y so people might be running out of things to talk about. So my advice is return to this Lounge when VLVODAAHF is released.
