THanks to all the news last night, I slept til 2 this afternoon, so it actually won't be that hard to stay up.

I'm happy to record, now that I know how. But I'm sure I'll only be one of a couple dozen doing it. Looks like my VH thread in MM mays till be of some use,lol.

aww, well minus the stomach bug, that does sound awesome! because VLVOD will be out earlier than expected in the UK, i wonder where i'll be when i first listen to it through a leak...probably in my room, very early in the morning! i guess that's sort of similar then :D

I feel like taking a sleeping pill and setting the alarm for 12:15pm!!

It actually took me about 3 listens to get into it on that morning, but on the 3rd listen I was blown away. It was pretty cool. It felt like I was the only one up listening to it on the whole campus! I have a big radiohead fan living above me and not even she listened to it until later that evening. Of course, when she did play it, everyone knew about it (it was LOUD.) :P

I think that would be a cool way of listening to VLVOD too! I wouldn't stay up all night again and listen to it on no sleep, but getting up early in the morning to listen to the album while its still dark is really cool, in a strange way. If it leaks in the morning, I would go for it!

interestingly enough, for me, the non-radiohead fan (at the time...well, i sorta liked them), i LOVED it at first listen. blew me away. at the time, i didn't have high speed internet, though (:angry:), so once my friend told me how to download it, after work 2 days after the release i went to the library and downloaded it, then put it straight on my computer when i got home. aaaaaand played it nonstop for about 3 months :D

 

yeah, this time i plan to listen to it when it leaks in the wee hours of the morning, by myself in the dark :dance:

when exactly is the premier time?

i mean it's available for download at 1.15 pm in germany, but when's it going to be played on radio?

 

i got off from 11:20 til 14:25, but i'll have to go back to school then.

they're probably as excited as we are ! and probably much more anxious about it !

That thought occurred to me too. They know EXACTLY the hype they're creating, and they're probably grinning their faces off right about now...actually, they're probably going to bed right about now since their lives are going to go totally insane again for the next few months.:)

I've never been this excited. I wasn't a fan when the last 3 albums came out, only really been a fan after X&Y was released, so never experienced all of this build-up to a release date. So exciting! If this is what it's like for a single release then I can't imagine what I'll be like the day before the album's out. Crikey.
