A Spell A Rebel Yell

Seems like enos at it again, it's such a blend of sound that it's virtually impossible to decipher what effects came from which instrument. sure there's some organ and guitar there.

its awesome.

I just remember prospekt talking about being the cathedrals...

It would be ridiculously awesome if chris recorded it on a pipe organ

Man! I hate that I was one of the first people to post on this thread.. and I feel like I'm the last person to hear this song (haven't heard it yet) but from reading your responses it seems it's already out. So gotta check it out ;)

Hi Jon! How are you? I'm listening to it as I type. How exciting. It sounds kinda from the 80's wayyyyyyyyyyyy different from the previous song.

Oh it just ended.. is it supposed to have a random end?

um...yeah i think. I only listened a few times...don't remember all the details.

I'm not sure how good a quality the radio rip is.

80s for sure.

yeah it ends like 2:40 min and just randomly

My guess is that Semy faded and ended it early to avoid any talk. Semy? Care to comment?

Yeah, I think it needs more of a fade out, I think it was going for that 'mothers of the dissapeared' feel where it should feel like the song has no end, just keeps going on it's own rythm.

i just listened to it... it's not that bad, i like it. it's probably the most different song by them they have done

Just listened to it. I like it, very different sounding. I love the message though. Yet another great Coldplay song. Not album worthy, but a good b-side indeed.

yeah I also think it needs a little bit more of a fade out. I like the song though. It takes me back to the 80s (not that I grew up on the 80s but you know..)

Just listened to it for the first time. I love it. Deliciously 80's and so unique.

The riff throughout the song is johnny on guitar??I cant tell...

VERY 80's!!! I wish we could get an digital release of it though. I would love a full on non-radio ripped or vinyl ripped version.
