I don't think that one has a b side.. in fact those are promo cd's for the radios and stuff... the record label use to give away a few of these

I wonder what the actual CD for VLVODAAHF will look like. Parachutes and AROBTTH looked the same (Black with white "Coldplay" and title name) but X&Y was purple with all the tracks listed. And do you think theyll post song lyrics in the booklet, or stay the same and just have some pictures?

Yeah it looks like a promo CD, usually only 1 track and given to radio stations. All singles released to radio have promo CDs. Sometimes it's just a white card or something but sometimes they do it like here and make it look extra nice.

 

Also, I think there'll be a Dutch CD release of Violet Hill too. http://www.amazon.de/Violet-Hill-Coldplay/dp/B0018DCGLY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1209537226&sr=8-1 It says the b-side will be "Lost?" though Amazon is not the source of reliability. However it wont be a UK release, though you can import it from overseas. It's not uncommon for bands to release different singles in different regions.

they should record a few different versions of violet hill as b-sides.

take for example the u2....they release 3 or 4 different versions of the same singles, coldplay could do the same or just work on different versions for just one single

on EMI's german site they said it'll be commercially available, so people (I hope in many countries included mine) will be able to buy it in the shops...

 

Also, in the EMI's article they call the b-side "Lost?" with question mark and then in the album tracklist they wrote "Lost!" with exclamation mark... just a typing error or 2 different versions?

Using some pretty clever detective skills I have discovered that the CD above is not the same as the one in the first post of this thread, thereby meaning we have two different promos/singles out in circulation. One is a Parlophone release, can't make out what the other one is. Where did you find this photo BigFatNoises?

 

EDIT: It says Capitol, and June 17th, so its the US promo I gather...

How awesome! I wonder how much it will cost though. lol, it would be a wonder if CP gave them out free. They seem to be doing everything free now a days.
