Fab Four Does Goofy Things

Featured Replies

Maybe that was the intention, The Beatles were certainly the first thing that came into my head when I watched it. :idea2:

A clear influence indeed!

I can also see a few similarities with the Strawberry Fields vid, and coincidentally I'm going to where it was shot later this afternoon:

Also quite similar names no, Strawberry Fields and Violet Hill?

Very Fab Four-esque...

Its actually striking. Along with the comparison between the all videos, the first thing I thought when i saw them walking on the hill was "That looks just like U2, Joshua Tree Era, very Corbijn-esque." It's just in the style and fashion and location that U2 used for that album and the videos and photography that came out of that era.

Yeah, and if you see the alternate video for Violet Hill, the one with the "dancing presidents" it's just like Window In The Skies.

Haha, they sure had some skinny little legs. Off topic, I know.:P

Yes definitely the part at the end where Chris is being goofy in the snow! Reminded me of the Beatles...
