Dating friend's Ex?

Featured Replies

well... ex-gf (or bf) are usually off-limit!!! But it all depends on how the relationship was and how did deal with the break-up (are they both completely over each other, and that sort of thing...). I think it's better to be open with your friend just to prevent any further problems... and make sure the girl is completely over him and not just using you to get to him (horrible, i know, but girls can be bitchy like that).

Hope that was of any help...

As an Objectivist, I believe it's totally A-Okay. You're taking advantage of an opportunity. But I agree with Mariana, definitely hedge your bets with this - she could just be using you.

Also, eat as much ice cream as you want.

Weeeeell. I guess it really depends on how good friends you are. If the guy's heart is (still) broken then don't date her. If he's a jerk and doesn't care - why would you? Date her and show her you're the right for her. :)

Wellll, generally it is frowned upon, so you'd have to talk about it with him first :)

Well how good friends are you with the guy?

Would you want to risk losing one friendship to pursue another one?

Dating a friend's ex is a no no, it's like one of those unwriten laws and might bring some akward situations in the future

hmmm. If he was an asshole then who cares. BUT I suppose you might want to be wary of a punch being thrown at you if you cross his path.

And she better be worth it. haha

Just keep in mind that you won't be the same friends as you were before. I guess you'll get to know what I mean.
