Does anyone know when Coldplay will come around to Los Angeles? Will they try to fit it in around the Vegas and Phoenix dates?

 

Or will they have a second leg in 2009?

I am almost certain some kinda date will take place between phoenix and vegas. a week off for a touring band is rare because you have to keep on the roadies and store your equipment.

I got tix for the 5th b/c I am going to visit family, but I am hoping they come to LA as well.

 

I saw them at a the bowl years ago and it was freakin magical!!!

 

I would so much rather them play the bowl than an arena like Staples... it just works outside under the stars... well, moon, because you can't see the stars in LA... lol.

Why no Coldplay in Los Angeles?

 

Does anyone know why they didn't choose LA as one of the stops on their tour? Is there a possibility that they will add it at a later date?

I'm sure there is a possibility. Perhaps they did not announce it due to conflicting events at their first choice of venue.

if you look on the tour dates, there's a big gap between July 12th (Phoenix, AZ) and July 19th (Las Vegas, NV).

 

SoCal gigs will HAVE to happen then. makes sense with timing and the route of the tour. :D

looking at several LA venues, I noticed that hollywood bowl has several dates available between the 13th-18th. i'm thinking there could be a reason for the delay in naming a LA venue-maybe there is going to be something similar to the New York show? but i'm expecting a san diego date on the 15th and LA on the 17th

Hi, I am really hoping they will announce something for SOCAL soon, Vegas is way too expensive and a long Drive from Tijuana...

Nah Im kidding. I dunno why they havent schuduled there yet, one of the greatest places to play a show in my opinion and I think Coldplay agrees.

They're actually playing a concert on jimmy kimmel on june 2. it's free, so that's cool. but that's all i know of so far
