I seriously cannot tell any dfference

^ In the first version the "Coldplay Viva La Vida" part didn't look good..

or maybe that's just me

The only difference I can tell is that the revised one has been moved over to the right a little bit. But I don't think it makes a huge difference to it. Its slightly better I guess, but it was awesome to begin with anyway! ;)

I couldn't figure out the best way to place the text, so here are 7 different attempts at doing so. Choose your favourite.

I apologise in advance for the amateurish job. :dozey:

Oooooh! Nice. :D

Where's the Viva text from? O.o Separated from the album cover that is...

Ah, well I managed to separate it from the album cover a couple of months ago using some clever photoshop trickery

I can send you the full rez PSD file if you want.

Ahhh thanks so much, Semy! I'm using the sixth one that says 'Viva La Vida'. :D

Nice work, I wish I was as good in making stuff like that.

I made this one with screen captures of the youtube video, maybe I'll make a new one with the HQ images ^^

Hope you like it!!

Coldplay - Viva la vida

Here's the PSD file (Photoshop) for the painted 'Viva La Vida' writing as seen on the album art.

How the hell did you extracted the brushed from the non-brushed image?

I guess it's Select colour range Photoshop trick, I may be wrong though ;)

Yes, you're close... I think I filtered out all the parts of the image which were under a certain level of brightness, and then spent over an hour getting rid of all the brighter parts of the image that weren't paint splatters. It was time consuming, but ultimately quite useful. I'm sure someone could have done it better than me though :P

Your PSD is probibly how that Noel guy made that fake 'single' cover

Wow.... this stuff is very nice!

Maybe it's just me.......but it looks sooooo much like the Muse artwork in some ways.....anyone agree? An observation.
