Yes,"cheese heads" have put a goal, to my delight ! :daisy:

A SECOND ONE ! :-))

2-0 holland!

FUCK!

I wanted Italy to win this.

NOT A GOOD START!

though van nistelrooys goal was a MILE offside.

bad decision

turned the game!

that was a mile ONside ;) didn't you see that italian player behind the italian goal? It was his fault to decide to have a nap there ;D

no, he wasn't on the field of play, therefore he doesn't count as an "in game" player

besides, napping??

the keeper nearly knocked him unconcious! he wasn't behind the goal from his won choice, he was down injured.

the rule says, defensive players can't force offside by leaving the field of play... those players are counted as "standing on the goal line" ;)

_offensive_ players can dissolve offside by leaving the field, though ;)

The first goal was very clear offside:angry:

it WAS offside, even the pundits at half time are saying how disgraceful it is.

though I suppose you could be right.

they'll have to dig out the rulebook to clarify the situation with the off-field player

no, Andy townsend just said it's a clear offside

poor decision from the linesman.

I think the referees and UEFA-officials shall know better than any former football-player ;)

not at all.

because the pundits watch it over and over again and analyse it.

the linesman had to make a split second decision, and he made the wrong one.

I watch the game on ARD and NED1 and both commentators said the first goal wasn't offside.

As Felix said: Defensive players can't force offside by leaving the field of play.

So it was regular. :) I'm so happy for the Netherlands!

don't be so hard-bitten, mate ;) The decision was controversial, yes, but correct. Even the best pundits can't know everything. The german expert said he didn't know of the rule before, but the decision was correct.

Italy gets a licking now lol.

fantastic game!

strongest performance from Holland by far in this euro

Italy gets a licking now lol.

:ears:

:ears:

:laugh3: will you please BEHAVE?! i have an eye on you xDD

...but I think Italy vs France isn't due until next week? *ba-da-boosh* ;D

.............................................
