the rule says, defensive players can't force offside by leaving the field of play... those players are counted as "standing on the goal line" ;)

 

_offensive_ players can dissolve offside by leaving the field, though ;)

 

there was a same thing happened in fiorentina v Roma...in that case Fiorentina player was coming back into the field.... and the referee said roma's goal was good....

in this matter the goal wasn't valid...but i suppose referee didn't see off side at all...not just Panucci out

However we were playing ugly...with scared players and with a bad starting 11...Donadoni was also wrong when delayed substitutions till 60th minute....He didn't have to put Ambrosini ( DE ROSSI OUT WAS ABSURD!)and Materazzi...the defense was shocking specially on the 2nd goal.....we had taken more goals yesterday than in all WC 06!

I suppose Donadoni will change more against Romania...and they have to put balls out:thinking:

As for the Dutch team, we were delighted. One more time, Van Nistelrooy could prove he was a very good player. They said the goal keeper Van der Sar will retire after the Euro. I hope they'll find one as good. Snijder and Van Persie are very good players as well. Let's see on Friday vs France. :stunned:

btw...do you know i've seen van der sar once...after a match..of juve many years ago....we went down in the stadium subterranean... and say juve players there..del piero...and edwin...wo was eating a sandwich sat:D....very funny scene :laugh3:...
