That exactly same thing happened to me although at first i NEVER thought i'd feel comfy here(=the lounge) with all those weird people around me that i didn't know. But once i got to know some people it all got better and now this is the best place ever yeah man!

But once i got to know some people it all got better and now this is the best place ever yeah man! Especially when you got to know Ren!! :P Well, in my case I never felt uncomfortable. For some unknown reasons it was way too easy to me to get to know most of Cping members because by then loads of ppl used to have their own thread and if you just posted in them, they always greeted you and it was a way to start a conversation! :)

I was a bit scared of the own threads at first (for the same reasons), but afterwards I also thought that if I wanted to know those people I just had to post something, and what place would have been better than their own thread? And yeah, I was really concerned about making mistakes as well but then, when you see people like Marek and Reg all your concerns disappear, I can tell you! :lol:

This is the order of google image searches that led to it First: Cartoon Cat (I wanted to make a Mxymytosis themed avatar/sig) Then: Evil Cartoon Cat Which led to an old cartoon of people. So I looked up 1950 cartoon Then I stumbled across this blog with all kinds of old magazine covers. So I picked it because it is vintage and funny.
