June 10, 200818 yr The Toronto show got bumped up to next month, which is absolutly fantastic... 'Cause lets face it, none of us Toronto fans were really looking forward to that 5 month wait, lol. Downside though, there is now only one show! Perhaps that is what's taking so long for the pre-sale codes to be sent out... I just emailed Best Buy members services... Hopefully there will be a reply soon... Getting a wee bit anxious here!
June 10, 200818 yr I'd rather wait five months so I can actually seem them, than missing out in July.
June 10, 200818 yr oh, really? We're supposed to get them on thursday? I thought the little message said June 9th or 10th we would be getting an email. Ok...well....waiting then.... lol Yeah the message said either the 9th or 10th, I clearly remember.
June 10, 200818 yr I don't think we'll be getting a presale code because of the new tour dates and the fact that some of the other Canadian shows were rescheduled/cancelled.
June 10, 200818 yr Author wow....this summer's amazingness, at least for me....just....crumbled.... no presale codes, no presale...no concert. it's horrible.
June 10, 200818 yr Author Hey Owen...I haven't received mine...meaning I haven't recieved yours yet either. But I'll keep checking, man, don't worry. Is your show still happening?
June 10, 200818 yr has anyone received any presale codes yet though? I haven't either, O__O, maybe it just got delayed with sending out presale codes... I don't think I can even go...so i could possibly (if i get the code) give it to someone if it's final with me not going...
June 10, 200818 yr Hey Owen...I haven't received mine...meaning I haven't recieved yours yet either. But I'll keep checking, man, don't worry. Is your show still happening? my show is the Toronto one, which got moved up to July 30th, so yes I hope so. I think that the codes being sent out has been delayed due to the re-routing of the schedule, because I haven't heard of anyone who has received a code yet.
June 10, 200818 yr Hey all! Good news! As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I emailed Best Buy Member services about the pre-sale codes earlier today, and finally got a response back. Here is what the message said: "Thank you for your e-mail regarding the ColdPlay Promotion. You will receive your e-mail regarding the Pre-Sale Code within the next 24 business hours. We do apologize for the confusion and inconvenience regarding this matter. Thank you for visiting bestbuyrewardzone.ca. Sincerely, Cynthia Customer Care Best Buy Canada Reward Zone" So, officially, no worries! We'll have them in our in-boxes just in time for pre-sale :)
June 11, 200818 yr Just got mine too, but it's pretty much useless for me because I can't use it for the Ottawa date, there's no info on that date yet.
June 11, 200818 yr no worries, im sure they'll have another presale for the ottawa date and then you can prolly use the code you just got for that presale...hopefully
June 11, 200818 yr Okay... The pre-sale codes went out less than an hour ago and there are already people selling them on ebay... Makes me sick. Just as with scalping, real fans really lose because of this. Sad & pathetic.
June 11, 200818 yr Got my presale code too!! I was just wondering, when buying the tickets, will it be a better idea to just search for the most expensive tickets or "best available"? I want floor tickets to the show in toronto!!
June 11, 200818 yr I was wondering the very same thing... I'm going crazy trying to remember which I selected the last time I managed to grab floor seats to a popular concert. I want floors too, of course, however with there being only one show now... and taking into account that both the shows sold out in minutes last time... I'd honestly be satisfied with the worst seats in the house... As long as I get to go! I'm thinking of just taking whatever pops up first... Not sure if that's a bad idea, lol... but I don't want to risk not getting any tickets at all...
June 11, 200818 yr It's not useless... You'll still be able to use it when they release the dates! I'm not sure because we go through Capital Tickets, they have the sole rights to selling alltickets to any venue at Scotia Bank Place so we might need to sign up for another one.

Yeah I'm just scared that if I select the most expensive option and the best available cost less, I might be stuck with nothing

Wow, that would be totally lame. Fingers-crossed you can still use it! I think that if you couldn't it would have said in the Best Buy message... Well, hopefully anyways..
June 11, 200818 yr Yeah I'm just scared that if I select the most expensive option and the best available cost less, I might be stuck with nothing Not sure what you mean... I think the safest bet is "best available" that way you atleast get something, whereas with just selecting "floors" you're risking not finding anything, and possibly missing out on the other tickets at the same time.. Or, is that what you meant, lol?
