Isn't the lock oh-so-adorable? Man, it seems sooooo happy.

But to answer the first question - I don't really know what you're talking bout dude. I just had to comment on the fact that I don't think I've ever seen anyone wanting a thread locked after only the first post! Things have been getting increasingly weird round these parts - and I say that as a total newbie so feel free to hurl your rotten vegetables at your monitor.

Just two things:

1) Who keeps rotten vegetables?

2) You will have to clean the mess up.

wow... douche bag much????

what is this then??? thats my question.... its nice that ppl are so nice all around the world

Best Buy did a pre sale on tickets for RewardZone customers. Thats just a password for tickets, but seeing as how the chance to enter passwords is only the day before each concert goes on sale I wouldn't take a chance on buying JUST the password (they were free on the Best Buy web site when I tried but the chances of getting a password are random). Buy tickets day-of like everyone else = much easier :nice:

Presale Advice.....

To anyone that won tickets in a presale, please give some advice. I bought a code for the Atlanta Presale (Whenever that is, if they keep changing it).

Did you guys usually accept the first set of 2 seats it gave you. or did you keep trying and were more successful? Any info would be awesome!! ;)

im very interested in seeing what others tell you cus im in the same situation

I accepted the first set I was offered because they were floor seats. Not in a bad location either. I kept them since there was no telling what would be offered next.

How did you do with the pre sale?

Just as the title asks... im worried im not going to know what to do if the reward zone code pulls up seats in the middle of the floor. I really want to be close to the stage!

I would also like to know this, as I'm going to be trying for floor tickets for the United Center show as well, I have a question though:

The floor area is one big general admission section at the United Center, right? There aren't *actually* 6 divided sections?

Thanks!

Bump...

I accepted the first pair... but i knew that there were limited tickets in the presale so I didnt want to risk not getting any at all. (which was a good choice since it sold out within minutes).

As long as you choose "best available" for the price range you are searching, you should get good seats on the first attempt.

I went back during the general sale and tried again to see what kinds of seats it would show me for the same price, and they were worse, so i was very happy with my decision.

I guess it could also depend on your location and how popular you think it will be in your area.

that was a long ramble... hope i helped a little.

generally, the presale consists of tickets from a predetermined area of the venue. sometimes there arent any tickets released then for the section you want. you just have to try it out and see how it goes.

Presales

Coldplay didnt seem to do a presale this tour through their website. Anyone know if this is true. Last tour i got 3 shows through pre-sale and the tickets were excellent. Is it possible to get pre-sale tickets? Anyone know, I would appreciate the information.

Best piece of advice ive heard thus far, thanks a lot! How good were your seats if you don't mind me asking

again thanks

For the Coldplay one you have to be a member of the Best Buy reward zone since before May 2008.

Usually you have to be a member of something or other to access pre-sales. :)

what do you have to enter in for the best buy presale? your member id or does bestbuy email you something?

Yes, Thank You!

Ummm you did any price aswell? What do you suggest refreshing wise before or at the deadline. Most of the presales start at 10, right, so do you suggest rapidly refreshing page at the end of 9:59? Or what? Or will that get me in trouble?

Choose whatever price range you are willing to pay. if you choose any, then it will give you the most expensive ones available...

also, no need for rapid refreshing. just a couple of times right as it hits 10.

the best buy presale wont do most people any good because you had to have been a member of the best buy rewards zone for more than a month to be able to access the presale. a lot of areas have radiostations that host presales too, then you just need to check out the radiostations website to learn how to be a part of it.

Prob too late to say this.

But wow, the LA pre-sales were terrible. *shakes head*

what ever happened to presales right off of the Bands website?

That seems to make the most sense to me.
