hey everyone,

i'm going to coldplay's philly show. due to the date change, i need an estimate of how long the concert will be...anyone know/have a guess? thanks much!

from when the band come on to the actual end of the last song i would say the concert will take around 1.30 to 1.45 hours..the maximum i would say it would be for coldplay is 2 hours.

I'd say absolute max length would be 1 hr 50 mins - if they for play that long I'll be exceptionally pleasantly surprised.

lovely! thank you all so much. =]

for the price they are charging it should be close to 2 hours. however based on past performances it will probably be 90 minutes which with 4 albums and plenty of b-sides is too short for the price.

With the amount of shows they are playing, I would say also it will be no more than 90 min. They will keep it to a minimum since they are so loaded with dates.

Remember last tour, Chris lost his voice... so this probably will be a defining factor in show time.

And now he has hurt his knee and the tour hasn't even started! Hope he can heal it fast!

I'll honestly be really disappointed if it's only 90 minutes. That was too short for the Twisted Logic Tour. With another album's worth of material, if it's anything less than 2 hours, it's too short.

There's really no excuse for anything less. I don't mean to sound bitter, but with the current state of ticket prices, etc...you have to expect some baseline. And when Springsteen and U2 can play well over 2 and a half hours, Coldplay needs to do the same.

it better be longer than the twisted logic tour, none of this one and a half hour bull shit

i know it should be like 2 hours

They charge more than U2 and Radiohead for their premium tickets these days, their show should equal those bands in length. Radiohead is playing at minimum 24-25songs a show. U2 does the same. Coldplay is notorious for overcharging on their tickets and fans only getting to see 16songs. Coldplay, if your floor seats this tour cost over $100 (w/charges) ..FIX YOU better not be song 16 in the encore. Play for 2hrs or fucking charge $60 a ticket for your highend seats.

Completely agree with everything said right there.

I just read in the toronto forum coldplay charged someone top shelf price $100 a ticket for Upper Level.
