So I found this rather odd, seeing as the album isn't even out over here, and I figured I'd post it...

 

I was getting bored with my ringtone (Verizon, by the way), so I went and looked at the choices, and I discovered that they already have the entire album in ringtone form! Not the weird electronic ones, but the true tones or whatever they call them. So if anyone with Verizon wants the ringtone that Chris keeps saying Life in Technicolor is designed for, go ahead! I personally thought the 42 one was pretty cool.

i was thinking about this earlier today! ooh, i'm going to have to pick one carefully...

 

if it wasn't 1AM, i'd go browsing RIGHT NOW, but somehow i think me browsing though loud ringtones would wake people up...

Yeah, I was thinking about it too, that's why I was so surprised when they were actually there!

 

Well they might not have Reign of Love, but that's not too catchy anyway, is it? They even have The Escapist... I myself got Strawberry Swing and 42, although I liked Viva la Vida too- so many choices!

 

(And just stuff your phone and head under a pillow :P )

haha, you know, i think i might just do that. because now i want to hear which sections of the songs they have...oh, i'm SUCH a nerd :P

:laugh3: that's what i had to do with their other songs on the other albums. I was like, " oh no... SHOULD I GET X&Y or...... :uhoh: WHAT IF?! So i just got both, my father had to pay for them and eventually he got fed up with me buying ringtones.:D

Haha, it's okay, I was really interested to see which parts they picked too! I know I got really excited when I first discovered which part of Everything's Not Lost they used... A good ringtone is essential to life, I think.

 

Well I can tell you that Strawberry Swing starts right after the first verse, Viva la Vida is the last chorus, and 42 is the last 3rd of the song... Other than that I don't really remember.

i think my dad is going to kill me when i donwload more, but worse comes to worse, i throw a couple of bucks at him. the fact that ringtones cost more than songs off itunes baffles me, though.

 

i kind of wish the strawberry swing one was a bit better, but i can almost guarantee i'll be getting that one as well eventually :P

LIT is probably a good ringtone but man! I'd love strawberry swing... or even more Yes! *sigh* :wacko:

The Strawberry Swing one was a bit disappointing (I was hoping for the last part of the song), but seeing as it's my favorite track off of the album, I had to get it. I'll probably end up with VLV at some point too, but seeing as I already wasted 6 dollars... I figured that I needed one ringtone for calls and one for texts, right? ;)

I'd kill for one of those iPhone ringtones where you can pick whichever section of the song you want! Well, I'd actually just kill for an iPhone :P

I wouldn't exactly kill for an iPhone. iPhones are like computers. They always seem to get better. But a regular high tech flip phone is good enough for me. Like, people who bought the iPhone right when it came out got a rip off because they're selling better versions of the iPhone now at a lower price. it's like AHAHAHA in your face type of deal.

nice. i might be getting a new phone today actually so i think that would be enough convincing to my mom to get a new ring tone.

Conveniently, I have the Verizon Razr, which is famous for being crippled in so many areas... among them having access to far fewer ringtones than the others. :(

 

Luckily, I'm getting a new phone in the next two weeks. YEAH BIRTHDAY!

i previewed all of them and chose viva la vida. that and 42 were my favorite ringers. lit was surprisingly disappointing
