i already can't stand him, but apparently he could be #1 this week instead of coldplay when the album comes out in the states. yeah, the music industry's in pretty bad shape...

He won't be number 1. Rap albums that sell near a million in their first week usually plummit in their second week to around 200-300K. Coldplay will easily beat that this week.

Lil' Wayne is by far the biggest douche bag of all-time.

 

I live in America, and everyone is obsessed with t he 5'4" munchkin. His rhymes are awful, his voice blows, his beats are gay.

 

Basically, 2pac and Biggie are turning in their graves after each and every song 'Lil Weezie" releases.

I heard his new album in a car with my friends about a week ago. We were in stitches. I took the whole thing as a joke, because there was no way such ridiculous 'rapping' could be considered to be good.

 

Apparently the critics think otherwise...and I'm sure this is one of the signs of the apocalypse.

 

EDIT: Also, this is an unbiased opinion from someone who USUALLY enjoys listening to hip hop/rap....I was not out to hate Lil' Wayne from the start.

i laugh when i hear a lil wayne song. im not for rap/hip hop anyways, but i'll listen to some every now and then. your jay-z, kanye west and a few others. but lil wayne...i wouldnt say i hate him lol.

i hate almost all rap, not because its rap, but its shitty rap
