i bought the CD at wal-mart (jewel case by the way) and the CD was EXACTLY $10.00. :laugh3:

if i had pre-ordered from amazon i would've paid at least the list price of $14.98 plus shipping & handling. i'm glad i waited. the only thing that ticked me off wuz that they had the camp rock soundtrack (which also came out today) in the very front of the music department but i had to go to the coldplay section to find the album. but oh well, the guy who checked the album out for me said it was amazing.

I got at Best Buy today at 10:30, when I entered, I didn't saw the album anywhere on the CD section, then my father asked a dude over there and then he showed me a big special section where they had like 100 Viva La Vida CDs, the section was all Coldplay, I was so OMG, that section was nicely created.

I thought the band was no big deal here at my country, but since I saw all the advertisements for the new album and this, whooo.

:bigcry:!!! I got to the store, grabbed a copy, went to the counter, swiped my bank card...and didn't have enough

!! I left $20 in the bank specifically for this album, and the effing bank grabbed about $6 in service charges, so I didn't have the $14.99 left over. I'm not getting paid again until Saturday night, so I'm screwed!:bigcry:!

I couldn't find the jewel version (which was the one I wanted...) :( I looked in several stores but they all had the gatefolds ones but since I know there are jewel ones I gotta go buy another one then :thinking:

I'm pretty sure mine was 10 bucks too. Cool. Oh, I bought the jewel version, but when I was at borders I saw they only had the gatefold.

At my Wallmart it was also $10. It's weird that you guys couldn't find the jewel case because my Walmart had like 40 jewel cases and not a single gatefold. Maybe my Wally snatched em' all, lol

I got from Amazon.com for reduced preorder $9.99 w. free shipping! And on newburycomics.com they are selling with a VLV glass or if you are near a store you will get album, glass and lithograth included! I want a glass! :)
