Well, for me, Subterranean Homesick Alien by Radiohead is a meaningful song.

 

It depends on what topic/theme you're looking for. ;)

One of my favorite songs of all time is Amsterdam. I was going through a rough patch and I couldn't get these lines out of my head:

 

"stood on the edge...tied to a noose, but you came along and cut me loose"

 

There was somebody in my life that became those lyrics to me and it changed me big time.

Those lines have resonated with me since then...

I really love Time by Pink Floyd... it's very meaningful and it really explains how one can wait a lifetime for some sign while time pases by and really never stops... and then you realize the sign never came but now it's just too late... you've been waiting an eternity and wasted precious time of your life... very deep...

"Supper's Ready" by Genesis is one that comes to mind. Honestly one of the greatest songs ever written.

 

Also, "Across The Universe" by The Beatles.

The Light Before we Land, when I was going though my rough patch a few weeks back, it pulled me though

Sums up exactly how I've felt for the past 2 years since losing someone close to me.

For Coldplay lyrics, I'd agree with the shout out for"Amsterdam" or "Warning Sign" - So I crawl back in to your open arms.

 

My all-time fave track ever is "Hand in Pocket" by Alanis Morissette
