Coldplay are seeking unknown acts to join the bill on their upcoming "Viva La Vida" tour of North America.

 

The band have announced details of a contest for six summer concerts, appealing for aspiring groups to submit video performances.

 

Support roles are required for concerts in Chicago, San Jose, Philadelphia, DC, Boston and Hartford.

 

Interested acts should visit coldplayontour.com and can apply using YouTube clips of their band at work.

I went onto the coldplayontour site and you enter by selecting your local radio station and adding a video of yourself onto YouTube.

Im in a band...but I'm farther than 150 miles from Chicago. Hopefully they do the same thing for St. Paul im 149.5 miles from there not that I looked it up on mapquest or anything....

 

I will force my band to do it even if they don't want to :-P
