wow...y do i like Coldplay?? Well first of all, i find their lyrics amazing. They've got wonderful inspirational lyrics (i'm just into these kinda bands like Beck n stuff). And second of all, they've got two great albums that i can never get enough of. And last but not least, GUY, he's so dam hot! :D

:D ok I started the thread and didn't even answer the question! I s'pose I like Coldplay because in an age where 'pop stars' are dominating the charts, they unashamedly are making music with soul, that they mean 150%, while trying to appeal to the mainstream. The emotion in Chris ' voice is such that I just have not heard before. And, with the rest of the band, they just sound great. I'm not sure if I even know what I'm saying. ah screw it I love Coldplay cos they are the fookin' dogs bollocks! :D :P

why do i love coldplay?

 

they were the first band i adored musically before looks, dance moves, etc...(i was into boybands prior to coldplay)

 

with the backstreet boys i always wanted to watch their videos and interviews, but would never like watching live performances.

 

with coldplay i only want to watch live performance before anything else.

 

so yeah. i think that says something right there. like i said their the made the best music that ever moved.
