Well believe it or not, this list consists of the tracks that made my month

Yes, perhaps it is the least-known Coldplay song of all. You know how A View From The Top is an unreleased song and got recorded with some potato at a sound check? Well there are two other unreleased songs that never became popular because they have even less quality than the more known one... Someone to Love and If She Comes Back were played at the sound test. I am very happy for the people who went there because they probably got to experience the song in all of it's glory. However I am very disappointed in the person who decided it would be fun to troll us all and record it with a potato :P Well at least it's better than nothing, If it weren't for them we wouldn't even know these songs existed and A View From The Top would be a forever lost masterpiece. At least that was the one that had a decent quality. The other two are mostly just static! You can only hear a guitar play something in Someone to Love, and I can't remember anything else since the static is so freaking loud (how can a mic be so terrible???) and I never bothered to listen to If She Comes Back because it's the same way. Too much static, only so much you can do with a potato recording. That being said, the reason I do have them on my phone is because I want to feel proud of myself that I'm getting the rarest songs from Coldplay ever on my phone, whether they're mostly static or not :P You can still hear a bit. It's just a pride thing. :P

 

Recorded with a potato ? LOL I think it was a camcorder but not a very good one. Also, the recorded was pretty far away from the scene. Have you seen the video ?

 

 

 

A View From The Top truly is a masterpiece of a song. That XMTS is on an album and this never even got properly recorded should be considered a crime against music !! :D

1) 12- The 1975 (beautiful, spacious interlude which I've sometimes used to end certain playlists)

2) Charlie- RHCP (funky n shit, but this has always been a track that's never really clicked with me. sorry, Flea ;))

3) Momentz- Gorillaz feat. De La Soul (great party track, like one of the MILLION tracks DLS appear on with Gorillaz lol)

4) We Don't Deserve Love- Arcade Fire (nice slow jam, and shits over nearly EVERYTHING else on that album)

5) Murder City- Green Day (not heard it much, so idk. hearing it now, it's pretty good but Green Day have done WAY better than this.)
