Knotty
Has anybody else had any sort of, random changes of heart about Coldplay songs? This track never meant all that much to me before but it just came on StreamPlay and I can't stop repeating it on iTunes now. I wonder why on Earth that is. blackchickintheback
Sometimes I don't bother downloading all of their B-sides and live mp3s because it's a lot to keep up with. I also didn't think they would be as good as the stuff on their albums. But yesterday I discovered I Ran Away [i know, smack me] and I love it! I also used to hate Green Eyes and Warning Sign I guess it depends what mood you're in or what you're going through.

StephBerryman
Yea...i'm glad you like it Knotty...it's not my favorite b-side but it's still good.
Knotty
Haha. Yeah, I HAVE like everything they've ever recorded and a lot of live versions on top of that. It just never, ever stood out before as being anything more than music, filler music at that. S'awesome though. Eek, how good is the first line?! "It could be worse, I could be alone." Denise
Yay another Crests of Waves lover, better late than ever  I simply love that song, I want them to play it live, that's a mission I already started to work on :nice:
JM-42
The same happened to me but with I Ran Away, I just couldn't stop hearing it! It was inside my head like a entire week
crazyduckette
Yeah, both Crests of Waves and I Ran Away are two of my favourite songs. I also like it, because not every average joe who buys a Coldplay album has them..... :nice: Also....add Animals...to that.
kspillers2
Yeah...Crest of Waves happened to me like that, as did A Message....just suddenly fell IN LOVE with them after just sort of letting them slip through for a year. Right now, Moses is topping my list.
"*"*Claire*"*"
I simply love that song, I want them to play it live, that's a mission I already started to work on :nice: Yeah! For the concert in Milan we could make a VERY BIG poster writing "PLEASE PLAY CREST OF WAVES! DO IT FOR COLDPLAYING!!!!" :D
Mimixxx
"It could be worse, I could be alone." One of my favourite Coldplay lyrics. Although the rest of the Crest of Waves lyrics are quite bad  I still love it though!
RedGirl76
Guy was talking about it on the Virgin interview. Apparently he lobbied really hard to get it on the last album, but was a lone voice. Jonny started laughing and told him to "let it go, it's over" - clearly Mr. Berryman had a hard time over that decision!

Shoot Jenika, I think the several of their b-side are actually some of the best in their collection. Things I Dont Understand, Gravity, Proof, Crest Of Ways, See You Soon, The World Turned Upside Down, Bigger and Stronger..... All fantastic and thats not even all of them worth hearing over and over....
Knotty
I would certainly say that Gravity, Crests of Waves, Proof and I Ran Away are worthy of the album spots of some less incredible songs. Twisted Logic, TKC, Daylight, maybe Spies.
