At work we have a much higher proportion of left handed people than the normal 1 in 10 statistic. And the lefties tend to be the quirkier types - I hand a feeling you might be one of us! :rolleyes:

We our kids do exams, we sit them in set order - set 1 (the brightest kids) on the left, all the way to set 8 (our least able) on the right.

 

While I was invigilating one day, the Head of Drama (a lefty, and seriously quirky) told me to count the number of lefties in the room. She said there's always hardly any on the left (how ironic), and that more and more appear as you work your way down the room (and the ability level)

 

Sure enough, there was only one kid in set 1 who was a lefty, a couple in sets 2 -4, and by the time I got down to 8, the number of lefties was even to the number of right handed kids
