I'm glad Kaka is injured so he won't play this evening against my favourite team (kick-off 08:35pm CET on ZDF television). It would be amazing for Werder to play a draw, because they play the weakest season ever. We'll see. :)

What an amazing game! Werder really deserved to win. They were so much better than the Italians. Beckham only played for about 3 minutes. ;)

 

Terrible pictures from Nijmegen though. Has anybody watched the match between NEC Nijmegen and Hamburger SV? Suddenly there was a big explosion and then you could see that the referee was bleeding. He was hit by a firework! :o Hamburg won 3:0.

i'm having a terrible time trying to choose the winners for the 2nd round of the champs league. there are very few if no games between a really good team and a weak team. but i'm confident barca will dispose of lyon and Villareal should win comfortably. otherwise i have no idea. just hoping my two teams man utd and juve get through.

¡Muchas gracias! :) Milan was very weak in both games I completely agree. But I was very surprised, because Bremen is playing its weakest season since ages. I didn't expect that. Pizarro and Diego were the best players yesterday. Now Bayern Munich follows on Sunday. Maybe another 5:2 victory? :wacky: :D

I'm pretty surprise with the Liverpool result. I thought Real would put up a fight and I didn't think Liverpool will play all that well. I guess we now know where their priorities lie. :laugh3:

It was actually Olympique Lyonnais who had the previous record after winning 7:2 and 3:0 against my favourite club Werder Bremen a few years ago. So I'm glad that it has changed now! :laugh3::P
