we're the victims of our own societies and it's eating us alive.. we like 'things', but we dont necessarily need them. I'm saying this, but I'm one of the first consumers. And we like it. But somehow, it's kinda ugly. So then, I just want to go and find the experience that will make me not want those things I dont need.

that's why I feel stuck with the whole uni plan.. we're not learning things for ourselves, but we're learning things for a final exam. Everything's already planned for us and we're puppets. But then, what can we do ? that's what the country requires to be able to make money and live.

And if I only had the money...I'd travel the world!!!! There are certain places I MUST do, but anywhere new would be cool for me! But I"m not into the "relax sit on the beach w/ a drink" kinda traveler, I wanna go and explore and experience a little of a diff culture and see the sights! So much beauty in this world....

You should do what you gotta do to finish uni...you're like halfway through, right? Then instead of jumping right into a regular ol' job, you should take "a year off." But do something cool like you've mentioned...backpacking or getting involved with some kinda group that goes and helps ppl in other places, you know those "Doctors Without Borders" type things, w/out being a doctor....I think just seeing something outside your own little world would be a life changing experience. (sorry for the unsolicited advice, but when Christa's not here, I get all "serious older person" you know:P ok, back to sQUEEEEEEE!!!:lol:)

This is like reading something I would say. And its so true.

I dont even know if I passed my semestre because teachers have decided to be pains in the ass (which I completely understand though judging from the situation in France.. but anyways..) and wont give any exam results before someone from the government listens to them.. I know I passed some courses but it wont tell me if I have it all!
