so i think we need to start a thread to get coldplay to latin america. i have been spamming with kitty photos i the updates thead but of course we need to state the cause and draw people in with the cute pics for the cause. i think we need Pris's input and of course Lore and the other Latin american peoples ideas. i love pris's siggy as the overall theme. so this is something we must do. they need to go to latin america

uhoh coldplaying project!!!! I think if you get the word out there, I'm sure lots of people would help out...I just don't know how effective it would be with the band(or tour management ppl). I have this feeling they're going to do something similar to what they did in 2007; make a special mini-tour just for Latin America, either after a few months off, or early next year.

It is very strange, though, that they went all over the place (even Middle East!) and not to Latin Am. Maybe VLVORDAAHF didn't sell well enough down there for them to make a trip???

I got it on Facebook because I was attending it as an event on there. It said: Debs Wild canceled the event "Scranton". Debs says, "The Coldplay performance set for Friday, May 29 at Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. Refunds will be available at point-of-purchase.

 

The band are performing at Hersheypark Stadium on Sunday, May 24 and are making great seats available to that show for fans who purchased tickets to the Scranton date. Upon refund at point of purchase, fans who purchased Scranton tickets will receive a password to purchase these specially allocated tickets.".

Yeah. I mean, it's not the end of the world, because I'm still going to Hartford and APW. I just really hope it doesn't mean they're canceling this entire leg, including Hartford. :uhoh:

 

edit: Though, I think if they were to cancel other dates, they would have announced them all at once. So hopefully Hartford is still okay.
