The Da Vinci Code is a good movie, pretty entertaining :nice:

But as Ari said, i preffer the book... the movie skips some things and it can get confusing for people that doesn't know what's going on :confused:

 

On my 3 lazy easter break days on the beach i read Angels & Demons just 'cause the movie is about to be released and i wanted to read the book first :wacko:

Ok, i've thought of a few more... The Dark Knight, Wall-E, The Pianist, Million Dollar Baby, Snatch, X men (any of them), Blood Diamond.... and if you don't mind movies in spanish I'd reccomend "El Laberinto del Fauno" or "Y tu Mama Tambien", though i'm not sure if you'll understand the last one as it's got a lot of local slang :P

Good night, and good luck is pretty good. I didnt know what it was about so I was expecting something a bit more Clooney-ish, funny you know. but it isnt, and still good.

I wanted to Burn after reading. But my cousin said she fell asleep at the cinema.. :uhoh: So I didnt.

 

The Pianist IS AMAZING ! I was sooo into it, til the last scene. Brilliant movie.

Million Dolar Baby is also really good. I cried too.

All Xmen, saw them too. Long time ago. Not my favorites, but cannot not have a thing for Hugh Jackman :P

 

Snatch is on my list.. Carla told me I should see it.

 

I'm not against watching movies in Spanish.. though I can get lost easily. I saw Amor es perros the other day, and I must say I love subtitles, haha.

 

I started to watch LOTS of movies a few months ago, and yeah it was meant to kill boredom. Now, I kinda love it, and as I still have lots of time to kill :P

Burn after reading is a kind of movie that would not appeal to anybody... i initially watched it at the movies, and it was 6 of us in the entire room and a couple left very angry as they didn't understand it :P

I guess you gotta be in the mood for something silly and without much sense or logic to watch it.... :wink:

 

Oh, see i was gonna recommend Amores Perros as well, you beat me to it :nice:

 

It's a good way to kill time :nice: I love going to the movie theather or just renting movies.... my friends hate me 'cause the only way to get one movie i haven't seen is going to the art films section :P

 

Ohhh!! i just remembered another one... Man cheng jin dai huang jin jia (Curse of the Golden Flower) chinese movie... . very good story, great special effects and the photography and costumes are fantastic :wink:

My Monday could've been worse.. Had to pay my dentist a visit.

So I pretty much freaked out! Eventually he didn't do anything, just looked and made a new appointment. I need a wisdom tooth to be removed, not looking forward to that..

ah wisdom tooth, don't fear that. i had to get my 1 wisdom tooth be removed, i was scared at first but it was pretty good. the dentist said i should remove my other 2 wisdom tooth, but those hadn't gave me any problem so i didn't followed his advice. :p

Well.... she's been acting really weird to another friend and i, so it's not just because i'm going to NY but it seems she'll take any excuse to make mean comments or just say things in a mean spirited kinda way :dozey:

It's even more annoying as she's been my best friend for ages, but now she's become very judgemental, say things behind my back (to my bf, wtf!! :angry:) and doesn't seem to think before opening her mouth.... it's not only annoying, it's also kinda sad that a lot of us are just avoiding her nowadays :confused:
