Editors vs Interpol

After first albums I would have said Interpol by far, and the Interpol second album, but then came Editors new album. Blows Interpol off the face of the planet, nearly every song a classic. Interpol have stayed still but Editors have moved into another sphere with the big guns. I cannot wait to see them live.

interpol's latest album (our love to admire)- which has heinrich maneuver which is f'ing genius, but lest not forget 'no i in threesome', or mammoth, or rest my chemistry - is damn good. its hard to say otherwise. their second album is even better IMO - antics - which has evil, narc and lets not forget 'slow hands'. oh man - and not even jail. damn that album is amazing!

im assuming if youre going by when the artists released their albums youre comparing interpols 3rd album to editors 2nd album - an end has a start and damn - each can hold their own against one another. id probably go with a tie. i prefer antics to our love to admire but damn good stuff! and editors - hell you can never go wrong with tom's vocals.

i love the bass lines mixed in with the drumming. it just always stood out for me and ive always liked the lyrics. i dont think its by far their most genius song - but i did think it was a stand-out on that album and i love the guitars on this track. and i just love paul's voice.

boring!?! yeah if you dont like interpol, maybe.
