what do the signs look like?

 

if you go back to earlier posts pallavi posted the link for the sign and from there you can print it out

630 sounds great. I'll only be able to meet for a bit....my mother is coming, and is wary of anything outside her realm of comfort, which is most technology and people. haha. But I'll have all the signs ready. Right outside the arena? You'll need to figure out a gate. Or will we do it inside?

Sean, i will have all of mine done tonight for jersey, not sure how many we have all toghter, i have asked everyone to say hi and give me a count, but it just may be you me and Pallavi, see the last few posts on the thread

Ok... I'm sorry I haven't been involved that much over the past few weeks. School has been very busy!!!

 

Do we have enough signs to at least cover the floor?

well all the people who are doing the signs printing get them with you all the signs for the show when you come and pass them all in your sections where ever you are seated and explain to the people if possible to hold them up during the encore.

 

I am also printing some signs and getting a xerox copy of them with less cost.

So that i am actually on floor i'll pass them in my section to the people and me and my husband will hold them.

 

And then we'll see as last time they noticed the signs in Jersey because all the people on floor held them up.

Do you guys still need help with this? I can't print out signs, but if someone gives me signs I can help pass them out. I'm pretty close to the stage (7th row) so signs around me should be really visible to Coldplay.

We can use all the help we can get! That would be wonderful!

hi guys! Proffesa95 (sean) Cooky, Pallavi and i did the jersey signs on the 27th, it worked out really great. we passed them out in each of our section and explainded what they were for. we did this when duffy ended. i did about 250 and put them in a big handbag in a folder. we asked people to hand them out behind them if we couldnt get to a section. it makes a bigger impact is sections are done and not just randomly passed out. cooky and i were 7th row floor and we got the whole front floor covered and sean was amazing and got a huge amount covered in his area

over all i've printed 30 signs for my section.:)

 

I want to do it very systematically without mistakes.

 

They've to notice the signs.

 

I'll hold them at the encore and during the beginning of Yellow.

Do we have a total count of how many have been printed so far? Is there any way I could meet someone before the concert to get some signs to pass out in my section? I'm going to try to save enough money out of my paycheck to print some myself but work's been slow this week :-/

professa95 asked the people to give a Private Message to him about all the info. they want to know for the signs printing or passing them to the people.

 

He also asked all the people to meet at the box office at the Wachovia center to take the signs and passing them.

 

i think here there are a lot of people printing them.So there must be a lot this time.

Can we just do a double check to make sure we're going to have enough signs JUST in case. No harm in it.

I think killer_cab said that he will print out about 500 signs.

Galaga said that he will print them.

 

I printed about 30 signs.

 

And some more people said that they will print them too and help passing out the signs.

 

Well all of us must meet at the box office that's what i want to say.

 

And if possible must talk to the oxfam people or the venue people.

Meeting at the box office sounds like a good idea. We probably ought to pick a time so nobody gets confused - some time long enough before the concert that we can plan and get everything organized.

 

Will they really block us from bringing in the signs? That would be a total bummer :( Maybe we could have each person who distributes signs be at least a little responsible for making sure their distribution area is clean afterwards? Although that might not really work...people did this in NJ, right? How did that work?

Actually at NJ Christa got all the signs in a paper bag and crossed the security.

They also met Pete from Oxfam too.

And they handed all the signs to the people after Duffy completed and explained them i think to hold the signs at encore.

 

And they did it and Chris saw the signs and gave them a notice.

 

So we just don't need to meet Pete from Oxfam because already Sean talked to him and he said that they can't help in this matter but we must contact the Wachovia center people.

 

But we all must really cross the security like we do with bringing our cameras.

A little bit of logic and hand all those signs and ask the people to hold them up during the encore.

 

That's it.

 

I'll definitely play my own part in crossing the security to get the signs in and then i'll hand them to all the people if possible i'll ask them to hold them at the encore already there are rules on the signs printed.

 

I'll hold them at the beginning of Yellow.

What to do with the signs sounds simple enough. It's getting them distributed and making sure everyone else knows what to do with them that might be harder! Just one question: do we hold them up during the first encore at the beginning of Politik, or the second one before Yellow? Or both?

 

Hmm, can security actually stop us for the signs? It's not like they're metal or dangerous or anything. Hopefully it won't be a problem! I saw the video with Chris commenting on the signs. It's no wonder, they're awesome looking! You did a really great job designing them :)
