Hey, I'm a little late in this thread, but I said in the Philly thread, if you need any help, I would definitely help you. Maybe copy some signs and such? I usually have access to a free copier.

ahhhhhhhhh! i can not wait for this concert!

if i could be there early i would absolutely be there to hand out signs, but due to my job i can not ....

But i will def be holding my sign up at the right time!

allright so we have alot of people willing to hand out signs which is good but we need some more people who are willing to print out some signs. Its a minimum of 250 signs. I am saying this now so if you dont have the proper funds currently to pay for signs, that you can save up so by time the concert rolls around you will have enough money. So send me a pm if you can help printing signs because so far we only have 4 people

We're going to need alot more people than this. I wish we could do some promo to get more volunteers. The Wachovia center's a much bigger place that anyone gives it credit for.

 

And also, we have to decide on our method of explanation. And simply talking to people isn't going to work.

i just found out that my dad isn't going to let me help pass out signs. he doesn't want to leave early at all. we'll probably get there like, right before duffy goes on. :( :( :( :(!!!!!!!

tru tru i think staples is a bit cheaper then fed ex but ill check

yea true respect is do to someone who went out of their way to make 2 signs for us and did an amazing job. Even people who arent going to either show should apprieciate that.

The signs are great.

 

Now that we have that situated, though, we have to start worrying about logistics. And it's NEVER too early for that! The concert's about a month and a half away!

what we do is print one copy out on our computer. Then we go to staples of fed ex office and they make copies 500 is like $49.00 is that what you meant?

i thought i said something earlier in this thread, but i guess not :confused:

 

anyway, i can definitely help pass out signs, but i can't help print. i wish i was able to, but

a) if you saw my printer you'd understand why i can't print them from my dorm :P

b) i'm a poor college student that is already blowing quite a lot on this concert, so another $50 for copies would mean i would have to eat less the next month, and

c) i'm travelling to philly by train and am spending the day in the city before the concert, so i can't really carry a box full of paper all day.

 

i really, really wish i could help print, but i just don't see it happening.

 

anyway, though, i hope more people can help print, because this line from the most recent R#42 blog makes me know we all have to do this right and get enough signs out there so they can be wowed

It's beyond great though, when the crowd give the band and crew something to look at. We see the flashing lights, the smoke and the mirrors of the show every night. When something totally unexpected happens, it's a talking point until well into the next day. The mobile-phone glowsticks in Paris came like a lunar eclipse, giving the whole touring party something to stand staring at and pointing. I'm sure there's more to come. Be assured, we'll all be watching.

 

the place can hold about 22,000 people for a concert, or around there. i wish there was some way we could ENSURE that every single person had a sign.

 

i'd be willing to help out with an explanatory note, though, if no one's offered to do that yet.

Sean, lets message Ian soon about sticky sign threads. We do have more than a month but it would be nice to get it organized soon. I'll message him today and see if he will do it. i am a little disapointed in our fellow Coldplayers participation. you guys have more people for Philly than the Jersey concert:rolleyes:
