I hope the boys are involved in the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony. It's supposed to be the green Olympics and that is a cause that Chris and the lads are actively involved in so they'd be ideal ambassadors as well.

 

Please Chris, get involved! Your country needs you! (and I for one don't want to see the Spice Girls involved in our opening ceremony - a horrific thought :o, and likely given David Beckham is on the Olympic Committee!)

 

Let the campaign now for a Coldplay involvement commence!

did u watch the closing....how crap was the gb thing specifically leonas bit...you could hardly hear anything......i think coldplay should deffo be in the opening of 2012....they have been the most successful British band since radiohead....it will be disappointing if they got snubbed and they had bands like mcfly and the feeling there

It would pretty much guarantee me wanting to get a ticket for the opening ceremony, but i have a feeling the chances of getting in are slim.

 

By the way, did anyone else hear Reign of Love being played during some of the montages last week? I was in tunisia at the time and watching the Olympics on a french channel so I'm not sure if it was shown everywhere. But it was a nice surprise :nice:

Well if it was like the pass-over parade, there will be quite a few large TV screens around the country. Chances at getting to the main stadium are slim, but there will be a large tv near you
