what a kick ass movie. out of kevin smith's line of movies, i don't think this was one of his most well recieved, but it was DAMN funny.

and ben and matt look hot with wings.

"you, you get to live because you are a pure soul. but you didn't say god bless you when i sneezed!!!!"

lol.

Haha... I love any movie with Jay and Silent Bob in it! :D  They're nuts.

I rented it last week. Alan Rickman looked so sexy!

this movie is so damn funny! Especially when Jay is driving the car at like 100 mph and is still in first gear, and then the car breaks down. And the woman is trying to fix the car while Jay and Silent Bob are fighting over which of them are going to have sex with her first. and then the woman is like "I'M NEVER GONNA HAVE SEX WITH ANY OF YOU!"

the films is just stupid. highly reccomended, so iwent and brought it on dvd...

matt damon is good granted, and alan rickman is his usual suave, cool self, but other than that jay and silent bob just annoy the hell out of me, and the film is just annoying, although some clever concepts and lines, the film as a whole is highly over-rated and nothing above average.

Huuuum, I don't really love that film. For me, it's the worst of Kevin Smiths's films. In my opinion, Chasing Amy and Mallrats are a lot better!!

no i loved this film!!! ;)

I must say, in my opinion, this movie pretty much sucked..

Jay and Slient Bob playing such central roles make the movie more campy than it needed to be. In Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, I liked the campiness; basically, that movie's supposed to be so. In Dogma, it just didn't seem to work.

Linda Fiorentino is horrible in this movie. Excrutiatingly horrible, IMO. Kevin Smith, in the director's commentary for JSBSB mentions how poor an experience it was to work with her. I was a poor experience watching her, too.

Overall, it's just not that great a movie, though I do kind it mildly entertaining and don't cringe when it comes on Comedy Central. Still, I expect more frm Kevin Smith.

Yeah I like Dogma...I don't love it though

I agree with noni, Chasing Amy and Mallrats are better! I never get sick of watching Mallrats!
