Charity Auction

Featured Replies

I wanted to draw people's attention to a signed photo I'm selling on eBay. 20% of the proceeds are going to Action Aid (who I know the band have supported in the past) and the rest to a road safety charity called Brake (for a sponsored walk up Mount Snowdon next weekend).

The photo comes from 1999 and is a A4 size B&W Parlophone press picture (I think) It's signed by the band in black biro. It's original and pretty rare I'd guess.

I know that some people won't interested. Please don't shout at me; just ignore this post. Some people might like to know and I'm trying to support a good cause.

Check out these links for more information on the charities.

Thanks for looking, I appreciate it.

Aww, too bad the bidding will definitely go up way higher than I can afford. But more importantly, did anyone look at the pictures posted with it?? Specificially, the note from Phil that comes with it! That is absolutely, without a doubt, Prospekt's handwriting. I know that that has already been discussed on here, but at least this is even more proof! :)

1850.gifPHIL WROTE ON IT? :stunned:

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

edit why am i more excited about this then the actual signatures? :thinking:

ps I placed a bid...even though it will probably get way above that I figured I should start things up...

If Phil is Prospekt, then he's definitely changed his "y"s, because they're not the same. :thinking: I know the rest looks very much like it, I'm just being a bit sceptical about it... :thinking:

he has the same Y over here:

maybe he purposly changes his handwriting....

the y's on the Phil letter differ within the letter. "sorry" at the bottom is different to "your" further up. and the y in "sorry" matches Prospekt's y's

Edit: in fact, looking through the Prospekt letters http://wiki.coldplaying.com/index.php/Prospekt Prospekt frequently varies the way the y is written even within the same letter.

you don't even have to look at any of the letters.

look at the two dashes in the bodies of both letters and the line underneath the signed names.

there is no doubt here.

Prospket=Phil

Phil=Prospekt

anybody who still needs convincing is either blind or needs glasses.. :P

now back to topic...
