January 28, 200620 yr Question about Politik Bridge. (Piano) I know that there's left hand (F,G#), right hand the same, then (F,A#) for both hands, then (F,C) for both hands, but i'm wondering what the actual chords are. Basically, i'm missing a note from the chords i'm playing. I just need the bridge chords and i'll be set. Cheers.
January 28, 200620 yr C, F, Ab Db, F, Bb Eb, Ab, C Eb, Ab, Bb for half, then Eb, G, Bb After this first time, C, F, Ab becomes F, Ab, C
March 27, 200620 yr Author Need help with Politik piano. Before you ask, YES, I've looked at the sheet music. I have no clue what's a sharp and what's a flat. I just need the two chords that are played throughout pretty much the whole thing until the bridge. Cheers. *And DON'T tell me to look at the sheet music. If you're going to say that, stay the hell out of this topic.
March 27, 200620 yr C7 Fm and the notes are (C7) C E G Bb C (Fm) C F Ab C and if you don't read music, here are the notes you play with red stripes through the keys you press. C7 Fm
August 1, 200817 yr Request: Politik Sheet Music for Piano hey everyone. i was just wondering if anyone had the sheetmusic for politik on piano. i used to have the 'a rush of blood to the head' piano book but i lended it to a friend and she lost it! so if someone could give me scans or something that would be great. also... does anyone know the name of the song that chris has been adding on to the end of politik on piano? sounds like something classical....
August 2, 200817 yr The name of song that have been added at the end is called: Politik! It is written by Coldplay.. not a Classical part! ;)
September 20, 200817 yr Does anyone know where I can get some accurate sheet music for Politik, for free? I searched the forum, and some of the links that people were given previously no longer work, so I thought this would just be easier... Thanks!
September 20, 200817 yr http://www.megaupload.com/pl/?d=RAHB2TM0 maybe quality isn't fantastic but I hope you'll enjoy :)
September 21, 200817 yr Thanks a ton! Luckily I'm a master pianist, so if the quality isn't great I can make it better... Haha, jk. If I was serious I wouldn't even need the music :p
September 22, 200817 yr If I was serious I wouldn't even need the music :p I agree, and glad you cleared that hahaha
November 17, 200817 yr Politik Hi! What are the notes on the piano at this two verses: Look at earth from outer space Everyone must find the place Give me time and give me space Give me real, don't give me fake Give me strength, reserve control Give me heart and give me soul Give me time, give earth a kiss Tell me your own politik Give me one, `cause one is best In confusion, confidence Give me peace of mind and trust Don't forget the rest of earth Give me strength, reserve control Give me heart and give me soul Wounds that heal and cracks that fix Tell me your own politik
November 17, 200817 yr It's basically C7 and Fm throughout the first two choruses and verses up until the bridge.
November 18, 200817 yr Does he always play the same chords like in the beginning, c,e,g, bflat and c,f, aflat until the piano solo part near the end cames? In the chord book is that when he sings the verse 1 and 2 the keys are b, e and g and b,c, and f? But it sounds not good
November 18, 200817 yr Yeah, I've noticed that too, they like to invert and switch around the keys for some odd reason. I doubt Chris actually makes that change when he plays it. On the right hand I play C7: C-E-G-A# and Fm: C-F-G# because it's an easy chord change and it's sounds more accurate to me with the pitch of the highest key going from A# to G#. During the chorus I'll hit the higher C with my pinky, but it really doesn't matter which way you play or invert the chords.
November 19, 200817 yr Sometimes I play it what says above. But alot times I play it different: Left hand C note. Right hand in this order from the left: G - Bb - C - E (C7 chord) After it the F bass note in the left. Then the Fm chord from left to right: F - Ab - B I play it this way because I think it is the easiest way!
November 19, 200817 yr Thank you very much! I will try it. I must say Politik is one of the easiest songs of coldplay to play on piano. But also one of the coolest songs. It has the best solo piano part near the end.
November 19, 200817 yr Not the easiest David! In Politik you have to play with all of your feelings, or it will be a mess. ;)
November 19, 200817 yr But sure that these notes must be played at the verse look at earth....? Left hand C note. Right hand in this order from the left: G - Bb - C - E (C7 chord) After it the F bass note in the left. Then the Fm chord from left to right: F - Ab - B I play it this way because I think it is the easiest way! Or the chords like in the opening of the song, but slower? I have tried it but sounds not like chris plays it. Any more ideas?
