No, Chris didn't elaborate. I posted the interview with Jo Levy a while back. He asked Chris how he wound up working with Rihanna when he's always dropped Beyonce's name (paraphrasing) every chance he gets. He replied that Beyonce's people rejected the song Coldplay wrote for her While Rihanna agreed to work with them. I don't know why no reporter has followed up on that. He would be interested to learn what really happened.
