artemetus
You should. It's a really good track and kinda eerie some might say. Had a lot of connections with that whole 'Paul Is Dead' controversy. John sings lead on the track and it was in Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. LISTEN TO IT! ;)

cohe223
I love the Beatles! I dunno if I could pick a favorite song though, hehe. Lately I really like If I Fell. And did any of you hear the cover Coldplay did of Here Comes the Sun? It's actually pretty good, even though my friend (a Beatles fanatic) says he doesnt like it :/

Strawberry Fields Forever does have that part in near the end where John Lennon says "Cranberry sauce" and it ends up sounding like he said, "I buried paul". On A Day In the Life, all of the lyrics have connections to the Paul Is Dead myth. If you listen to the lyrics to A Day In the Life, it is strangely close to the facts to the Paul myth. jewl*
Lol! Cranberry sauce?! Peachy!! How did you find that out.. I agree about the lyrics now. I didnt think of it in that way. :idea2: :) Thanks for UN confusing me :D ;)
Victoria
But John DOESN'T take the lead ALL through A Day In The Life - he does the first bit, and the last bit, but it's Paul in the middle bit where it changes into 'Woke up, got out of bed, ran the comb across my head', etc. Y'know, I never heard that about the Paul is dead myth and Day in the Life :stunned: A great track, whatever! BlissfullyMuse
:) Life is very short and theres no time, for fussing and fighting my friend... :D :P Ive completely forgotten about that song! We Can Work It Out Lyrics:Try to see it my way, Do I have to keep on talking till I can’t go on? While you see it your way, Run the risk of knowing that our love may soon be gone. We can work it out, We can work it out. Think of what you’re saying. You can get it wrong and still you think that it’s alright. Think of what I’m saying, We can work it out and get it straight, or say good night. We can work it out, We can work it out. Life is very short, and there’s no time For fussing and fighting, my friend. I have always thought that it’s a crime, So I will ask you once again. Try to see it my way, Only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong. While you see it your way There’s a chance that we may fall apart before too long. We can work it out, We can work it out. BlissfullyMuse
Norwegian Wood Lyrics:I once had a girl, or should I say, she once had me. She showed me her room, isn’t it good, norwegian wood? She asked me to stay and she told me to sit anywhere, So I looked around and I noticed there wasn’t a chair. I sat on a rug, biding my time, drinking her wine. We talked until two and then she said, "it’s time for bed". She told me she worked in the morning and started to laugh. I told her I didn’t and crawled off to sleep in the bath. And when I awoke I was alone, this bird had flown. So I lit a fire, isn’t it good, norwegian wood.
