A RUSH OF VIDA
Really? Why, if you don't mind me asking? ;) Well the the truth is i think Obama is full of sh*t(no offense to all the Obama lovers)but i really think that!....McCain i think has alot more experience and with all the shit that is happening to the world thats what we need...we need someone that knows what hes doing! Not someone who has no experience at all and in my opinion a LIAR..........
Tnspieler1012
^ out of curiosity sake, why are you voting for Obama? ;) On a side note, I've been going through the polls of U.S. states, and while I think the election will be closer than people expect, I can't find one state in which Mccain's status has improved recently. All his percentages seem to be on a steady decline. I'm saddened to see anyone believing in Obama's "hope". The fact anyone could love a corrupt politician this much scares me:stunned: It's an almost embarrasing cliche isn't it...the country would be so much better if only people had more hope... Matter-Eater Lad
We can kiss hope goodbye with Obama or McCain, thus it will be very short lived hope with nothing but trouble.

The fact anyone could love a corrupt politician this much scares me:stunned: The fact that someone like you can be so pessimistic as to believe there's no hope for America either way scares me. Well the the truth is i think Obama is full of sh*t(no offense to all the Obama lovers)but i really think that!....McCain i think has alot more experience and with all the shit that is happening to the world thats what we need...we need someone that knows what hes doing! Not someone who has no experience at all and in my opinion a LIAR.......... It's sad to see someone that would choose a little more experience over simple integrity. McCain has resorted to attacks and lies to bring Obama down, while Obama does not call McCain names, instead he just tells people to vote.
Matter-Eater Lad
I'm realistic, we have a chance with the right plan and leadership. Obama is the complete opposite of that, thus taking away hope. I have hope in intelligence and humans, now that hope is in Asia, where the intelligence and hard work is now. I'll be investing into the Asian markets with the hopes of moving there once Obama's and McCain's "hope" finish's off what Bush started. I'd like to see YOU prove Obama has integrity....and no words do not count. All Obama has is words, empty promises he never follows, show some intelligent proof why you support him, not just he had a good book. You put smooth talking over everything else, that is truly scary.

Well I'm sorry, but I'm not ready to give up on America and go to Asia just because I'm too scared Obama or McCain might "mess up" or country. I have confidence in the American people, and I'm willing to give Obama a chance to prove himself. After all, what's life without any chances to prove what you can do? What if every business would not hire anyone without job experience because they were afraid they would ruin the company? That would leave an entire generation out of work, because they could not get job experience if they couldn't get hired. So having the opportunity to prove yourself is essential to the American dream.
Matter-Eater Lad
Its the government as a whole, and the American peoples false mindset that is behind this mess. The fact people put so much faith into Obama shows, they don't understand or are just plain ignorant. We reap what we sow, and only have ourselves to blame when we screw up. I'm just being intelligent enough to understand when enough is enough and idiots are idiots. People being complete idiots are not going to bring me down because they are ignorant. I understand what is happening and is going to happen, and I'm working on staying above the mess in the future. Not helping to make it worse with blind stupidity and failed policies. Nothing wrong with cutting your losses and making better decisions. Its simply business, if America is dumb enough to elect another horrible leader, I voted the right way and will not let their stupidity stand in my way. Well if you feel so strongly then why do you even bother bringing down American politicians? If you have nothing to say that will actually help anyone, then don't bother talking, because all that does is ruin my hope for a better future. I'm only 16 after all, I cannot just move to Asia. I have to stick in this country for a while, so I have to try to support whoever I believe will best help my future.
Matter-Eater Lad
The things I say are to help. The economic problems and the answers to them, i've brought them up, if that's not help then nothing is. Yelling hope is not helping anything, just making it worse. I've given out good advice that helps. Just yelling hope every 5 seconds is not helping on the other hand. I've said save your nation, help get a 3rd party in office. All I've done is offer solutions, while you and Obama yell HOPE!!!!. Hope is amazing, but false hope is not.

Well a 3rd party candidate is NOT going to win, no matter how many times you pull for one on random forums. It's a choice between McCain and Obama, so you have to chose which of the 2 you believe is better. Maybe next time around a 3rd party candidate will have a better chance, but I don't think Nader is doing much right now. And I'm not even old enough to vote, so you telling me these things doesn't help me at all, it just saddens me to have to see such pessimism about the government. Saffire
And I'm not even old enough to vote, so you telling me these things doesn't help me at all, it just saddens me to have to see such pessimism about the government. Pessimism about the government? Just look at history! You'll see that governments have caused more death and destruction than any other institutions, even religion. You should cast a skeptical eye toward government once in a while. It will make you more grown up (as a 16 year old) than 90% of all adults who trust the benevolence of the thugs in government to help them out. You probably attend a government school, use government paper as money, and half your parents' income is snatched away from them before they even get a chance to see it. I have looked at history I know what government does. But I also know we are stuck with government whether we like ti or not, so we have to make the best of what's around. Talking about how all government is only destructive solves nothing, it just encourages anarchy. And yes, all the above about the school is true. But you know what? I like getting an education. I don't want to just throw out a government, I'm thankful for my opportunity to better myself through learning. And that about my parents is probably true as well, but they don't complain and blame the government. No. They just get up for work the next morning and suck it up because it's the only way to put food on the table.
