Forrest Gump is EXACTLY what I think about when I hear A Rush of Blood. It's just always reminded me of it...I'm glad I'm not the only one...

When the album came out I was immediately drawn to that song, and it instantly brought to mind that whole sequence. I hear Chris has a place in my neighborhood but have yet to seem him around to ask...

 

I am really glad some of you enjoyed something I put together last night for myself, and for my own memory of a little girl I sat next to on the bus when I was young. I loved making it and am happy if it brings a smile to some of you out there.

Yeah I always thought of Forrest Gump during the verse "Do back the things it did to you in return" and "I'm gonna buy this place and burn it down"referring to when Forrest and Jenny were throwing rocks at Jenny's house and wanting to burn down the house where she was being abused.
