Hello!

 

I've now listened to samples from each of Coldplay's four albums and STILL haven't been able to find a song I'm looking for that's obviously by them.

 

I work at The Gap, and it plays at least once every day. It's extremely an extremely beautiful, quiet ballad in which the music (mostly piano and a little acoustic guitar) is a little louder than Martin's voice.

 

The best way I can describe it is it sounds kind of like raindrops.

 

I absolutely love the song and have been trying for over a month now to find it....Does anyone have any ideas what it might be??

I know! That's the bitch of it...There are literally no substantial words I can make out of it. His voice is so muted in it...the music is much louder and the lyrics are pretty minimal. It's probably about 2:30 or so...

My suggestion would be Don't Panic? But you said you've looked through their albums, so perhaps not...in that case, I'd say I Bloom Blaum as well. Very good suggestion there, although I think the lyrics are pretty easy to understand, so who knows?

Well, the other day my grocery store played Strawberry Swing, which shocked me to no end.

 

So I guess anything's possible!

See if it was Viva it would've made more sense to me. But Strawberry Swing? Random choice. I also heard Shiver a few weeks ago at a *different* grocery store.

I work at a supermarket and everytime a Coldplay song comes on my heart soars :lol:

 

So far I've heard Yellow, Talk, In My Place, Strawberry Swing, Viva la Vida, Lost!, Green Eyes, and The Scientist.

 

The day that I heard them play Strawberry Swing I almost fainted, I couldn't believe it!
