harrisonrules
One of my best friends this past year is a lesbian. I have no problem with it but I noticed some of my other small friends seem a little put off by the idea. I might just not have a problem with it cause she's a friend and I look past it. I know at times though people like that can be a little confusing. I just hope this won't bother the way she runs through life. She obviously doesnt care what all of the other people say about her. What are your thoughts on gay marriage or gays being together in general. PS: The only thing that really scares me is flamboyant (sp) gays but even they dont bother me that much besides it isnt like I see them all over the place. Give your thoughts on the issue. Saffire
I was going to start a topic similar to this, but my question is similar: What are your thoughts about straight marriage? I mean half of them end in divorce and straights have kids who suffer psychological trauma as a result. I mean I don't have a problem with straight people, as long as they're not too... flamboyant about it. Also, I read somewhere that straight people have WAY more abortions than gay people. So I'm really torn on the whole issue.

The government should not have a say in what gay people can or cannot do as long as they're not breaking any laws. And last time I checked, "no gay marriage" laws just stemmed from religious prejudices.

People in general many non religious are against gay marriage becuase they hate things that are different.

Darlene_Ihnfsa
Cos our left politicians side rocks. I hope if in case of right side come to the power they don't delete that law :( once a right has been given it can't be denied... that's protected by law.. and nor a new law can be applied for the past events and so has to contemplate what previous law said. (i had to study a bit about Law on my degree ;))

Darlene_Ihnfsa
legaly a right can't be denied to people, so they'll have to contemplate another legacy for that.. (uff is hard to explain that in english XD).
