Into a Rush (Part 4)

 

 

 

 

*Miss's POV*

 

 

It was a sunny sunday afternoon, coming to a warm evening. I scrubbed the dishes one by one and then dried them. I felt a little lonely. Maybe more than a little. Maybe a lot. Everything was silent except for the water coming from the sink. I scrubbed the dish roughly, trying to get every little thing off it. I felt like washing dishes calmed me down and gave me more time to think about everything that's happened in the past.

 

I dried and washed my last dish until I could almost see myself in it. I placed it with the other dishes in the drying rack and hung up my drying towel. The sihes in the rack made me think about family. Sometimes they are all together, sometimes they have to go on individually. I heard a loud knock at my door. The knock was loud but a very calm knock. I then slowly walked over to the door. I wasn't expecting anyone. I opened up the door finding a nervous looking Guy.

 

"Guy... I wasn't expecting you. Do you need something?"

 

"I wanted to talk with you." He said as he came into the house. I stayed by the door and closed it slowly as I talked with him.

 

"About what?" I felt completly confused. I had no clue of what he would have wanted to talk about. Is there something I didn't know about.

 

"I'm Sorry."

 

"For what?" I asked, feeling even more confused.

 

"Leaving." He paused and took my hand. "I miss you." He said quietly.

 

I tried to say words but none would come out. I felt my heart beat faster and faster. I grew less calm and much more nervous. I had no clue what to say. Should I be happy or sad? I hesitated to answer him. "I... I'm not sure." I could hear the worry in my throat. I calmed my hands by holding them together but the sweat built up in them. I sat down in one of my chairs trying to calm down but, nothing could help me.

 

"I'm sorry..." He said growing more nervous.

 

"You don't have to be." I told him. "I just need a little time to decide." The more I talked the more nervouse I grew. My entire body was Into a Rush

:curtain: Hey guys!! Sorry for not posting more lately, I finished finals this past week so now I'm done with school and will have more time to write (when I'm not at work :P)

Hehe, isn't that always the way.

 

Anyway I think a half-year awards might be a bit much, since we're starting out it would be better to do it smaller IMO. You could post links to all fics written in that time period as a reminder of what's been written.

an award for being Psychic. OOps that was an earlier song title wasn't it??? Well then Simon is plagiarising

I loved the new chapter of A Warning Sign! It's really good.

Chris and Guy had swept their grudges under the rug, the impending fight refusing to break. For now.

I'm keeping my hopes up with the ominous 'For now'. :laugh3:

I don't really care if it doesn't happen though. It would just be funny if it did.

haha I didn't realize the fight between Chris and Guy was so highly anticipated. I'm not sure if I have a spot for it in the story right now, there will be a fight between band members but I'm not sure I should say between whom...or why. MUAHAHA

 

Also, I think Schoolboys has the tension between Chris and Guy covered, great job on the last couple of chapters Kyra! :kiss:

I've just posted a Coldplay Fan Fic Challenge at coldplayarchive on LJ but I hope that all of you guys here will participate too!

 

So basically the challenge is a 100 word drabble fic. Yes that means 100 words exactly.
