I have never sent an email as a letter to a friend...do people actually do that?

I never have, some to think of it....I should do it one day! :D

two of my friends and i have a facebook email/message/thread thing going to keep in touch while we're all at different colleges (we've spent nearly every day of our lives together for 15 years, so splitting up last year was a bit shocking), but other than that, i never send emails just to shoot the breeze. letters, though, i have done that. just not very recently.

I only send emails to people I met on here. Calling and texting abroad cost too much (although we do text anyways :wacky:) and regular mail takes too long !

Secret Santa is awesome. I'm having two santees this year - we're doing it on two Radiohead mbs :nice: I love the presents I got for those two people and I hope they'll like them. :smiley:

My friends and I are doing a secret santa and we used a website to organize the whole thing: elfster.com, if anyone's interested.

You can just put in your email addresses and then it assigns a person to everyone. Very convenient. :)

yeah :( we need at least like a week to inform people about it.. the some days to get the christmas card ready and a couple of weeks to send these... :(

we should do a Christmas Card exchange next year. I've done it on a previous forum. Anyone who wants to join in posts in the thread, and then one perosn collates the addresses. That way only people who take part will have the addresses.
