Today at my high school we found out that one of our fellow students killed himself last night. The announcement came in first period, and the rest of the day was pretty grim. No one talked much, and many people were seen comforting others. His sister was out of school, but many of his friends remained, some needing help to get through the day.

I did not know the kid, never even heard his name. But it still is a terrible tragedy in our school community, and I feel so badly for his family and friends. My thoughts and prayers go to them, I hope they make it through the holidays with as little pain as possible.

So please, if you know someone who is going through a rough time, make the extra effort and talk to them. This probably wouldn't have happened if the kid had just talked to someone, anyone.

And if you yourself have these feelings, these feelings of depression, or abandonment, or helplessness, or anything of the sort, please talk to someone. Take it from a person who's been down that road before, the worst thing you can do is bottle it up. Even if you just talk for a few minutes, about just a few small things, it can help more than you know. Please don't let yourself fall into this, it's too much of a waste.

So please, keep an eye out, be nice to everyone whether they seem happy or not, and please give a prayer for this kid's family tonight.

Thank you

Ah sad to hear that!!

Oh, and tell your family and all your friends that you love them. Tell them as often as you can, because you never know when you may not get the chance again.

And please be thankful for what you have. Even if for one day, don't let all the little things bother you. There are worse things in life than a bad grade, or something to do with Coldplay, or a small fight. Please try to understand that you shouldn't take what you have for granted.

 sorry to hear that!!

I don't intend to.;)

At the moment there are too many people getting far too stressed out over Christmas, for example. Completely unnecessary.;)

I'm so sorry, Nick. I understand the situation to some extent, and it is awful. Yes, be thankful and be strong!

I agree. I know this kid's family won't be worrying about petty gifts this holiday season. everyone really should take time on Christmas morning to appreciate who is around them, not what is

And one thing I want to say is:

Even if you don't a great family around you, or maybe no family at all, don't let this get you down. I know I have dealt with things in the past and felt worse when people talked about being close with your family. Just hold on to hope, you will always find someone someday who you can love and who you can talk to. You really do just have to hold on a and trust that there will be better days.

Praying is the most stupid fucking thing in the world, it annoys me to no end.

Well praying may annoy you but it doesn't annoy a lot of other people.

And if you "really don't care", why did you have to post here?

a personal belief/opinion don't make it be a true statement just for that.

and intelligent people use to be silent and respectful with everyone belief/opinion even if them are just the opposite of themselves.

so give up being a bully-boy again.
